I recently read this in Rob Bell’s newest book How to Be Here:
“You” has never been attempted before. Whoever you are and whatever work you do, no one has ever lived your life with your particular challenges and possibilities. SO true! And honestly, “You” can be tough. And so today I have a word for you… HENEINI. (Heh-Nay-Nee)

So this past week at MTLbreck, I completely forgot to press record to capture the talk for uploading to a podcast...… so bummed that the talk can’t be shared for your convenient listening, but so thankFULL it was truly a good time connecting and exploring the 3 words that make up the MTL tagline - SEE... GIVE... LIVE.
Anyway, here’s a little something about the word SEE, inspired from a reading out of the book Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert... We’ve all done it before because we’ve all been there…
you know the moment I’m talking about, when you’re in the middle of something… it’s something great… you’re focused… and you don’t want anything to interrupt, but without fail, something does… something comes along and requires your attention even though what you’re into needs you too. Thank God for the pause button right!?! |
